Pioneering Wine-Making and a Love of Nature are at the Heart of our New Organic Wines
I’ve been exploring (and enjoying!) organic wines for years, and now I’m thrilled to have created four brand new organic wines for River Cottage, a collaboration with pioneering wine-maker Vincent Chansault at Domaine Gayda in the Languedoc region of France.
Named after some of the beautiful birds that thrive in Gayda’s biodiverse vineyards, The Lark (red), The Finch (white), The Redstart (rosé) and The Warbler (sparkling) represent a lighter, livelier style of modern wine making. From here the circle will ripple out to include many more delicious, sustainably produced organic wines from the Languedoc and beyond.

I have personally developed a red, a white, a rosé and a sparkling as a starting point for my Organic Wine Circle. I am leaving behind traditional heavy, tannic reds and oak-laden whites, in pursuit of elegant, lighter, livelier reds and more balanced, fresher, aromatic whites.
